Hi All,

Thanks for your help last time, still looking for my 4.5 Cerb and not had any luck over the summer. Just not found a car with the right history or colour for me, it is a car that I want to keep for many years..

May have to sacrifice 4.5 for a 4.2 and noticed this car, does anyone know the car ?

Recognise it - have you searched the reg?
Has it had mug spent on it. A clutch in 2010 as the key call out in the ad would worry me - you don't want to end up paying for a lack of investment over previous years. Regardless of mileage id expect to see ANNUAL services.

Thanks for the heads up, hopefully seeing the car tomorrow. Apparently has quite a weighty file of history and most recently had a couple of years where it has not been really used which is always a concern. Just had a service by known TVR Garage to bring upto date. Appreciate that doesn't gaurantee hassle free motoring.

I bought a sports exhaust from the chap who owned this car a couple of years back, he ran a garage in the Doncaster area. The car was lovely, I recall it had problems with water ingress through the doors but it seemed in good nick. I notice a Track V Road sticker underneath the side repeater, maybe give the lads a call and they should be able to tell you more.

Wow! you have a great memory. I went to look at the car this morning and it really does suffer with water ingress. Looks like the top of the windscreen has also had some extra work to address the problem, but it hasn't fixed it. Both sides were wet and carpet damaged with fresh mould on door cards, I couldn't work out where water was coming from either. I guess many far better than me will have tried to fix over the years...

Hi guys,

I bought this car before Christmas, its good to know more about its history, its done 1500 miles in the last 3 years, when I picked it up I had a 250 mile drive in heavy rain and wind, but cerb never skipped a beat. It did take a few days to dry the carpets after. I booked the car in at RT racing who did a great job giving it a tune up.

Still have a few bits to sort before the weather get better

Regards Jon
