Evening all,
I'm just about finishing off the fuel line refresh in the nearside rear wheel arch and I'm wondering whether dowty washers would be better than the normal crush washers for use with the banjo joints. The reason being that the dowtys self centre and therefore I'm more likely to get a seal that sits concentrically.
Any thoughts?

The only problem with fuel is its long term effects on rubber which you won't get with the copper. Might leak as they degrade which might be sped up compared to when used with hydraulics.
But if they are fuel resistant the I agree with you
The ones I've looked at are made from nitrile rubber which I believe is resistant to most fuels. There was a viton option for high temp applications but the price was also high at nearly ten times the cost of nitrile.......But if they are fuel resistant the I agree with you
