In my ongoing battle with chronic battery drain I want to bypass the immobiliser and / or alarm temporarily. If it is that then I can get it fixed properly.

Could someone PM me the instructions please?

Is Carl Baker still doing this kind of work or has anyone else taken over the mantle of chief electrical wizard?

After having re-drawn the wiring diagrams for the cerb (oh they are bad) and proceeded to fit a Tuscan fuseboard, a by product of my invested time was the finding of parasitic drains. One of which I tracked down to the dim-dip control unit as this has a perm live feed. Apart from eliminating 4 control units from the rear of the car, I do indeed know how to bypass the alarm/immobiliser. I can probably help you, but I am very sceptical about sharing the information I must be honest.

Start with the dim dip, and see if that resolves your problem, the alarm was actually quite reasonable in addition parasitic drain.
