For a 4.5,

Where to buy?

How much?

Delivered how quick?

That's the main points, and easy to fit? Looks like undo the flange bolts and replace cats with de cat pipe? New nuts and bolts probably a good idea too?

Anything else required?

Got mine from Tower View Race Services, but I picked mine up cos there fairly local.

I'd say get from Joospeed, if he's got em in stock, I reckon you could probably have em next day.
Probably best to ring for latest prices.

How much? about £100 + vat

Delivered how quick? 2/3 days Id guess if Vicks isnt too busy!

New nuts and bolts probably a good idea too? sounds much better IMHO...easy to do if you have access to a ramp, or can go to a decent exhaust garage...new nuts and bolts were needed with mine as the flanges were thicker and existing bolts just too short!

Anything else required? A long strech of road with a tunnel half way would be good!

One other thing, I already have the sports exhaust, does a de cat make it sound too raucous(can it sound too raucous?)

I presume more pops and bangs than ever?

hi,

I have a set of brand new unused decat pipes for my cerbie complete with bolts, flanges etc. i bought them off ebay recently, meant to ask the garage to fit them during the service but they found a problem with the existing cats and cutout and rewelded the existing pipes without talking to me first so my new decat pipes are going spare.

I was going to keep them but my garage is getting rather full of spares at the moment.

email me on jeremyfirth@crcl.co.uk so I can send photos if you are interested

PS I also have a complete stainless steel sports exhaust to replace the standard tvr rear box if anyone out there is interested.

I had mine from Joospeed last week, however I am aware that there are 2 different lengths, I think there’s only half an inch in it if I remember correctly.

And the sound is amazing! iv got some before and after footage if you want to hear the difference?

Go for it you won't regret it, unless you're the shy requiring type that is, in which case you'll be

BTW Some suppliers don't like to advertise they stock decat pipes as the law could be a little iffy, so best to contact them offline.
