No I don't, but 36k -Yikes! and it's only a 4.2 with no mention of what state the chassis is in.

Any
That age it is most likely to be a 4.5 but with 4.2 induction fitted.

It is at the current top of the price range but if it is as good in the flesh as it looks it is still a lot of performance for the money and they are going up in value all the time.

I know... They're a performance bargain aren't they?

Not when you can pick up one that needs a re-trim for 18k... Spend 5K making it pretty - that's a bargain.

I just picked up a 400bhp Tuscan with rebuilt engine for 18.5... It's not worth two Tuscans in my eyes. Then again, I don't have 35k laying around so it doesn't matter what I think.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
I was rather hoping someone here may have seen the car or new of it's history.

It is indeed big money - 36k seems like '4.5 Red Rose in top top condition from a reputable garage with a warranty' kind of money to me.
Is it worth two Tuscans - now there's an interesting question.

Perhaps someone can help with me the 4.2 vs 4.5 question.
I too was under the impression that the later cars were all 4.5's anyway - does that mean that the V5 could say "4185cc" but it is still a 4.5 displacement? Surely not, but then I suppose with TVR anything might be possible!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Quite, and 18.5k for a Tuscan with a rebuilt engine is complete daylight robbery. Either way, they're too cheap even at 35k.
