Hi,

Has anybody got any detailed photos of how the early (lower) type ARB for the rear is mounted to the chassis please? I'm in the process of finally putting the car back together (after a years' sabbatical) and I don't seem to have any photo reference for this area.

Currently at the "Why did I decide to take the body off / can't bolt old bits back on to my shiny new chassis" stage smile

Steve.

Thanks!

Yes, very impressive and tidy. So there appears to be a spacer between the saddle mount and the chassis mounting point - looks like turned ali or steel about 20mm long....must find those in the parts bucket!

Yes - I think the originals were aluminium but I replaced them with stainless tube.

It isn't any more... That was 0 miles after the rebuild.

Wrong colour, yellow is faster.

I assume mine must be later version as it's quite different.

I think they were Steve Heath items. Not sure you can get them anymore

I've got some stainless steel upgraded ARB carriers for the early cars.
