Sparks plugs out
Discussion
In my experience a 16 mm spark plug socket was too fat to fit. We machined down the O.D. by 1.50 mm then it was OK but we needed a wiggle joint (or whatever you call them) and extension bars.
I then discovered that a simpler way was to push tight fitting rubber tube designed for a Jaguar auto box onto the spark plug. When you twist this using the whole width of your hand it unscrews the plug. You can put them back the same way. Incredible but true!!

Good grief David, how powerful are your hands? ![]()
Snap-on do a spark plug socket with integral wobbly bit, not cheap at over 30 pounds plus vat but worth it's weight in gold
Any chance of posting a link to this? Couldn't find it and have had a number of problems with this.
