Mine went that way a year ago.

The transformation was pretty amazing, admittedly the APs were probably past their best but a set of these and some bells and 330mm disks really made a huge difference. The conversion was easy and the results excellent. The customer service however was not of the same standard.

152mm vs 154mm radial mounting, what a shame. Could have been a direct replacement otherwise.

Sorry, should have quoted earlier.

I spoke with AP about this earlier in the year. The CP9200 currently accepts up to 28mm discs, so no good for those on standard 30mm discs. They suggested it would be a natural progression to cater for wider discs, but for a time we may be stuck with recon units.

What's wrong with your existing calipers? I've just cleaned mine, refurbished bleed nipples (ok and new painted TVR logo) and purchased new discs from Reyland. Martin is a great chap - he has caliper spacers for 30mm discs if you need, he may also provide 28mm discs. My "build to order" discs have meanwhile done 1.000 mls in the Alps and showing almost no sign of wear. Absolutely stunning and worth any penny. They also should still have cp5200 calipers in stock.

They look gorgeous, but you haven't mentioned the cost. I'm guessing they're not in the £100 per disc bracket like the RG offering.

Fortunately I don't need any just yet thanks to Robscim.

For the same amount you can buy three of the RG offering... But interesting as the CP5200 calipers seem to have two different versions: While your calipers (early 4.5?) seem to support 28mm discs, mine (2001) are definitely build for 30mm discs.
