Guys, due to a lack of work over December/January & now earning significantly less than I was, it's crunch time. It's time to sell the car, or sell the plate & hope I get a better job.

Obviously, I REALLY don't want to sell the car, so was wondering how much I'd get for the plate (C13ERA - see my profile).

How much do people (realistically) think I'll get for it & where is the best place to advertise ?

I was thinking stick it on eBay & then advertise it on here in the Classified section, with a link to EBay (if thats not frowned upon) ???

Thanks

Olly

Those type of plates tend to go for anything between £400-£1000, depending upon if your lucky enough to find someone looking for a 'Cerbie' type plate...and judging by some of the absolute crap number plates ive seen advertised on PH...(unbelieveable to think how someone can make a plate read something it clearly doesnt look like at all! )..Id say you have a fairly reasonable chance with yours.

I have seen links from PH classifieds to ebay as well..so dont think its frowned upon...maybe try here for a few weeks first, then if no joy, update it with a link to ebay.

editted to say I'll give you £100 for it!

I know on the DVLA website,
www.dvla-som.com
There is a plate C13RBA for £399, however you're C13ERA looks closer to CERBERA so i'd be looking for more than that.
I'd say ebay with a link on PH classifieds will be as good a place as any to sell.
Advertise it on ebay as Cerbera plate so it'll come up if anyone types in cerbera on the search.
