Induction pipes

Question..
The 8 induction pipes on the top of the engine on my cerb are only clamped at one end? the end that attaches to the airbox are only pushed into position with no means of fixing, is this correct? as everytime the oil is checked one of the pipes has worked loose. Also i can see some metal wires poking through the pipes, is this normal?

Firstly, both ends should be clamped otherwise hot air can be sucked into the trunking...

Secondly, if the wire boning of the pipes is ripping out, you've potentially got a leak which is sucking hot air into the engine rather than fresh air from outside.

Contact Carbon Al on here to get you a new set of proper carbon pipes and jubilee clips. That'll sort the issues out and also look quality....

The pipes on my old Cerb were held on with wire ties at both ends, one of the pipes also kept coming off.
My new Cerb has jubilee clips holding the pipes in place.
