Hello
It would be great if there was a free, open source, iPhone version of RS-AJP
Lets call it RS-iJP.
Are there any iOS developers out there that would like to contribute?
We can host the source code on BitBucket.
(or anywhere suitable?)
I'll post any information needed to communicate with the MBE 941 ECU on the MBE 941 ECU Knowledge Base sticky at the top of the forum.
There are a couple of hurdles to get over though. Getting an app on the AppStore, that communicates with any hardware, requires consent from the hardware vendor.
So, I think the finished version of RS-iJP will have to communicate with the ECU over either WiFi or Bluetooth.

Anything wireless that means the phone can remain on charge and be free of the usb host issues on android would be great.
I presume a serial-bluetooth or wifi adapter would be needed ?
Not an iOS developper (Although I have developped software for 23 years, I can't fathom iOS development or its IDE
) but happy to alpha/beta test.

Doesn't exactly fit nicely under the ECU cover, but with a 90o adapter or a smaller device could work quite well...

On the programming front - can definitely help there a little
