I'm sure this topic has been done to death but has anyone painted induction hoses, air boxes and radiator cover. If so, what did you use? did it look naff after or were you pleased?
Thinking of matching mine to the body colour but can't decide if I want to do it or I'm just really bored!
Cheers
Jon

Doing my front and side air boxes at the moment. Staying with the black but giving them a facelift.

To be honest I could get my 4yr old to do it and they would look 100% better than they do now so anything I achieve will be an improvement.....

Mine are actually in quite good condition so I don't want to cock them up but I guess I could always paint them back if they look rubbish

I've thought about chrome but I think it's one of those things that has to be perfectly or it will look rubbish, I'm planning to have a go myself so want to start on something a bit more forgiving!

Mine are a candy apple red sort of a colour.

Would love Chrome but the upkeep of shiney parts would be horrendous on a daily driver like mine. I might get the fuel rail polished up but that's about all.

My engine bay was looking a little tatty so last year I tidied it up with matt black engine paint for the inlets, gloss black for the airboxes and fuel rails, then chrome polish tidies up the fuel rail, alternator etc.

I went for the clean and shiny look but keeping relatively close to the original schemes.
