Hi All,
Just painfully removed my rear shelf and found these various boxes.

1st photo:
1) left black box not labelled
2) middle box has "ABS" in the bottom left hand corner
3) right black box has "Traffic Master" on it

2nd photo: small grey box cable tied to the top fight chassis with "Trimble" on it.

3rd photo: big black box cable tied to the upper drivers side. I may need to move this and a little wary in case something dislodges and causes an issue.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Traffic master box is something to do with their navman system? for beating traffic jams.

I have a feeling that the trafficmaster box is likely to be a tracker, hence the GPS antenna. This is based on guesswork and googling "trafficmaster tracker box " in google images though and not from experience.

ABS just refers to the plastic that the box is made of. sometimes you get things like ABS-GF20 that indicates it has a glass fiber content of 20% for added stiffness. Definite pub quiz ammo right there!

The Traffic Master box is labelled 172 Ri which looks like it is a:

Autowatch 172 Ri Universal TE2 – 1006/0198 December 2010

from the Thatcham approved list here

https://www.thatcham.org/files/pdf/compliance.pdf

Might help with your insurance renewal wink

Thanks fellas.
Juddder - I have attempted to find a reference in the link without the success. Does this mean the Thatcham alarm still works and is valid or does it need to be activated? Great news if it is of a certain Thatcham category as generally well received by insurers I think.
