After a short period of varied sharp jumps, my ref counter has appeared to have stopped working. Does anymore know if this is simply a lose connection or do I need a new one?

Thank god the shift indicator still works or I would be buggered

Check your 100amp fuse. The rev counter going wonky is one of the symptoms of the fuse giving up. I would probably change the fuse anyway even if it looks ok. They get hairline cracks in them.

If it really is the rev counter thats fcked then you can get it refurbished for about 40 quid plus postage at Gower Oaks/Speedy Cables (can't remember what one).

As Andy says, check the 100A fuse just in case. It doesn't take long to eliminate that as the cause.

Bidding has ended, 21 quid, seems very cheap
