Hi Team wavey

Just finished a Track Day at Spa with guillotine and my attention was drawn to the temperature on the return trip. So I ask you all, is this the water level mark for the Cooling System .....

I fill mine to the seam. But usually runs a little below that level.

I normally fill mine to about 1cm below that line, i find if i fill over it, it vents off.
It also tends to lose a bit over time, i put it downto old hoses and clips. Probably have to put about a half a pint of water in it every month or two depending on how much i use it.
Its always been like that for the four years i have owned it, its never got any worse so havn't worried to much about it.
Its on the list!

Yes, fill to the seam. Then bleed the rad and the coolant rails, then top up again.

There is no bleed hose from rad to expansion tank in the Cerb, so the coolant level in the rad drops before you can see the level in the expansion tank drop.

I doubt Paul went via Lille since he's based in Lux.

However, I agree, the E42, is quieter and far less tedious than the E40. My preferred route is to then take the E25 under Liege, and exit near Beaufays, then 20 mins to Spa via N62.

I guess you're there by now though!
