Cerb must still be one of the best GT cars
Discussion
It's been many years since I last thought it but finally today driving the Cerb really felt like it was properly sorted (hope I'm not temping fate!) & it occurred to me a properly sorted Cerb must still be one of the best 2+2 GTs around.
The kids just jump in with out moving any steats, their belts do up very easily clipping in at the out side & of course they love going out in it.
It's comfortable too, with nitrons it's far smoother than any MSport BM (must admit I've not driven any real Ms).
We gave up with new BMs after the last F13 640d MSport was so horrible to drive. Ok the fuel consumption was obviously better, but the depreciation was far far worse!
There must be some other good 2+2 GT cars out the but for its age the Cerb really is still outstanding!!

Great cars no doubt but I find everyone has a different set of criteria for "good". My friend's can't get their heads around the usability traits that blight daily use; not so much of an issue if using as a proper GT car mind.
Whilst I love my Cerb I think a Maserati Granturismo would probably do the same job, better, more of the time. A 911 also ticks a lot of the same boxes in a slightly different way. In my humble opinion of course. The 911 is a car I intend to get to accompany my Cerb.

Not a frequenter to the Cerb forum...However, I do like the Maser GT as well.Whilst I love my Cerb I think a Maserati Granturismo would probably do the same job, better, more of the time. Having driven a few now, I would add that the GranTurismo probably leaks as much as an unsorted TVR - particularly the boot and this can happen on fairly new cars too. The earlier cars were infamous for pass. side footwell leaks which found their way into the ECU's in that area.
They are lovely places to be though!

Great GT car, we've taken ours abroad for the last three years and a few times before that. It always gets attention. Can run at speed all day long, just the issue with hot days, cabin gets warm, you just open the windows (takes the sides off
