Having read on numerous old posts about timing marks on the back of the AJP engine and wanting to double check a couple of things on my new ECU setup I sat down with my spare engine on the bench to have a good look for them. After 20 minutes of close examination of the back of the engine and flywheel I found nothing. Are these marks a figment of someones imagination?

I've never seen any, but I did propose that it should be possible to use the gap in the flywheel timing teeth that the CPS identifies.

I think you will only find them if a previous owner/tech has put them there!
