How to access a/c for re-gassing ?
Discussion
Hi,
I have just had a look at some pictures of the speed six engine bay, if that is your A/C compressor under the fuel rail/air box then it does look like you will have to remove the air box for access to the the charging points.
Is there enough room to shine a torch in there to see if they are there, before you go to the effort of removing the air box?

When I said airbox I meant the air filter box (the box on the front nose) - but you're talking about the other box with the fuel rail.. hmmm. I'll take a look with a torch, thanks for the pointer.I have just had a look at some pictures of the speed six engine bay, if that is your A/C compressor under the fuel rail/air box then it does look like you will have to remove the air box for access to the the charging points.

Thanks all for your help. Your replies were enough to get a rough idea where to look.
I had it re-gassed this morning (now nice and cool
)
I watched the guy do it, and can confirm that for a speed six, you only need to remove the scuttle panel (so you can get to the other 2 bolts of the airbox) and then remove the airbox.
I can also confirm that you can't just get it up on a ramp and do it all from underneath as you can only get to one of the aircon nozzles. Airbox has to come off.
