Best cleaning materials?
Discussion
Morning.
What are the best quality cleaning/polishing materials that give the best results?
I used to use color wax on my Grif, and just a standard detergent cleaning it. The color wax used to give a real deep shine, that even the dealer was impressed with.
But whats the best stuff out there for cleaning?
Also whats the best way to get that out the showroom look all around, including tyre rubber, interior etc?
Im off out to clean the car once I get over last night...... ;-)

Although I'm sure I'lll be frowned upon on here I just use Mer products!
I tried some Swissol and I considered it to be ludicrously over priced and not all that much cop.
Although a lot of people love the expensive products like swissol/zymol etc I just don't obsess enough over washing cars to notice the difference.
Mer rocks though imo
.

I got a nice deep shine out of Color Wax yesterday, but damn was it hard work.
The wax dried on, and it really took some effort to get it off. I was worried it was going to give some nasty swirling scratches and marks, but it came up lovely.
Must have put it on a bit too thick. Used to use it on my Grif and was always fine.

Okay....so I'm probably gonna get shot down in flames for advertising...but Vinny, if you want to treat your new Cerb to the equivalent of a weekend at a spa retreat..have a word with Martin at Top Shot Valeting.......
He will make your car look 'band box' new!!!
Not cheap...but then what he does and the end result justifies (IMO) the price......
