What a car, AWESOME!!

The love affair has started.
No woman in the world can make me fall in love this quick. But a car, a TVR, a Cerbera, done. I love it.

Put in a few miles today, after spending 4hrs cleaning it. It was raining when I picked it up and so it got covered in crap.

But, oh does it look sweet now.....

Great to be back behind the wheel of a TVR. And the response you get from people, they just come up and start talking to you in garages, or waving as you are driving, or crapping themselves at the cars sound and popping.


Only issue i have, being 5'8", is I think I need to get the clutch pedal lengthened. Im full stretch to change gears, and takes longer than it should cos of that. Also stalled it at some lights as cos of this, not cool. lol.

The standard pedals ought to be adjustable, unless you're at the full extent of the adjustment. Leven Technology will be able to help you out if you're not happy with the standard setup.

Glad to hear you got one! The standard brake & clutch pedals are both adjustable, if there isn’t enough length in the clutch adjustment; there are two mounting points for the slave cylinder rod (I’m sure there’s a better name) the second of which brings the arm out much further before you start adjusting the pedal.

Otherwise as said see Leven, they do longer threaded brake & clutch pedals, if you get them it’s best to get their whole new adjustable accelerator assembly or it will be two far from the other pedals.

I fitted the full set for Mandy, but even at 6’4” I find them better, I can have the seat all the way back for the increased head room but still reach the pedals comfortably + they look the dogs too

The only woman I fell in love with quicker than my Cerb is the one I now call "wife"....

Glad you're enjoying it. Pedal adjustment may be the way forward, also, try moving your seat closer and altering the steering column - I found tht I sat more upright and closer to the wheel in my Cerb than I ever did in my Chim, and I'm 6'2"!

Are the instructions for how to adjust in the manual that comes with a TVR?
I need literally an extra inch or so to stop me stretching fully to press the clutch down.
Is there a url to Leven stuff?

Not sure about the manual, but it's dead easy: The pedal is on a threaded rod, just check behind the arm to see if there is thread left to unscrew, if so loosen the lock nut, A/F size so an adjustable is probably best, then ‘unscrew’ the pedal to your required height. If there isn’t any thread left to adjust with it's the Leven ones with more thread you need, or as I said earlier there should be to possible holes at the top of the arm for the actuator rod (better name?). You will have to go head first on your back in to the foot well to see what I mean. Although reading other posts doing that could reduce the life of the clutch if you subsequently push the pedal too far down.

I had the same problem and i`m 5`10".
Found the best thing to do was to redrill the seat mounts and move it 1 1/2" further forwards. Took 1 hour and now it is fine.


still not close enough for the wife to drive though!
