I'm looking into some YOKOHAMA AD08R for the rear end of the Beast and was wondering which compound would be the best to go for currently got Bridgestone run flats 255 35 18

AFAIK they only come in one compound

I went for these last year to replace the R1Rs and they seem good although i haven't used them on track yet. I did quite a bit of research on them around the paddock at sprints and I certainly didn't come across alternate compounds. Best price was from Blackcircles and you might also get a TVR car club discount form some suppliers.

maybe a dumb question but why only the rear. need the same all round for balanced grip?

Jes, if we were all as brave as you with our braking points we would need fronts at same time as rears but us mere mortals wear the rears out much faster.

Order a lovely pair of YOKOHAMA AD08R will probably put some on the front when I finally wear them out probably need another set for the rear first think I must have been a American police officer in a past life love doughnuts
