New Windscreen

Has anyone out there had a new windscreen fitted? is it a dealer job? I am asking as the drivers side of the heated elements in the front screen dont seem to be working and as the car is still in the dealer warrantie I my think about getting it changed so long as the job won't stuff up the paint work or dash.

Would the warranty cover the screen?

When I bought my car, the dealer, Offord, changed the screen for me (or auto windscreens did it) no problems.

I'd say get it done through a dealer, as most have their own tame fitter who will not carve up your lovely leather interior when doing the job. I had the screen on my Chimaera replaced a while ago. The insurers were happy for me to pay the bill and send them the invoice to recoup the costs.
