Hi Guys, General TVR newbie here! I bought my prized Cerb 4.2 last year and enjoyed it greatly in the summer (what there was of it up here in Scotland). The car was then put in storage until now. Today i went to take it for its MOT and low and behold, the battery was flat. I left the bonnet unlocked incase this happened, but when i try to charge the battery, even though i can see power on the dash inside the car, i cannot open the doors or the boot!! Disaster!

I know its not to be publicly posted, but can anyone help me out with the manual boot entry method? Or any other (non-destructive!) ideas on how to get in?

Cheers!
Mike

I’d disconnect your battery, fully recharge your battery first and then try again. Sometimes with a low voltage Cerbera electrics can do all kinds of strange things

If the battery has gone that flat, it is probably phucked. I would fit a new one.

I might be wrong here, but I wouldn’t expect to see any dashboard lights, until you’ve actually got in and pressed the ignition button.

That aside, what’s the alarm doing, in terms of setting/unsetting ?

This for starters - although as mentioned, if it's run flat and stayed that way it could be knackered.
