New to Cerbera's that is....

After an S2, Griff 500 and most recently a firebreathing V8S I have taken delivery of a high miler, earlier 4.2. Madness I hear you cry!

The previous owner (hi Simon) had a short and brief affair with said vehicle and it has now passed onto its 4th owner. Oddly enough I know both the original and its 2nd owner so I have a pretty good knowledge of its history. (thanks to DDonnan)

It was advertised here on Pistonheads at
www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=35057&s=6

Mechanically it appears fine but cosmetically it's showing 9 years of use. A complete respray is pencilled in for a couple of months (I own a bodyshop)
but in the meantime I have located the following faults:
- Clock illumination not working (dead bulb)
- Wipers occasionally flick on (Cracked steering wheel ribbon)
- NS bonnet catch (on bonnet) has seperated (we've refibreglassed it back on)
- Boot catch disintegrated. (we've made up a custom steel housing for it and glassfibred it back on - there is no way its going to move now!)
- Window glass lowers 1" as expected on opening but only goes up 3/4" when closed, resulting in a gap (any clues to this one would be appreciated)
- Knock from steering when striking a bump mid corner (sounds like ARB link/bush)

As well as the usual fibreglass stress cracks, worn paint on areas that rub or get hot etc.

Looks like a busy few weeks ahead...

Good to see you're catching up with the TVRCC City Region Cerbera owning habit.

Only about five years late mind you....
