Hello all.not posted for a while,sorry,hope all having lovely day,cut to the chase,bought new battery and fob batteries,connected up,but nothing,it like she not there,even clock etc,no joy😰,100 amp fuse checks out ok,with reading from earth terminal on battery,earth issue? Or she just sulking🤕,also tried pressing fob while connecting battery,still no joy,she has been idle for few months,sorry,but was all ok before old battery give up the ghost,any help be appreciated,gutted 😰Cheers all.

Any chance you may have brushed the silver key of shame? That'd be my guess.

Many thanks for the reply,is that a dead switch for everything,then,? Cos nothing works,I thought the key was for the fuel pumps,etc?,closer investigation needed,then,? When I connect battery I picking no load up,at all,I gutted to say the least,many thanks.

Brand new,been on trickle charger and showing over 12 volts,when connected,so under load?? You would think that clock,horn etc would work,i no expert but i scratching my head,thank you for the valid input,much appreciated,buddy

So with a new battery fitted you've no power at all - lights dont work when turned on? What happens when you turn the ignition on, do you get any lights

If nothing at all - Has someone fitted a fuse in line with the positive lead from the battery.

Have a look where the negative battery lead runs down the wing and connects to the chassis. Easier to see if your nearside front wheel is off.
It's subject to corrosion and can cause issues. Also check the cable from that bolt to the block - just visible from the same wheel arch

If you've power at the battery, then have you power showing between battery +ve terminal and the engine.

Hello,buddy,many thanks for the input and post,does sound like a lost earth or live,somewhere as you would think that at least something would power up,have to wait for the weekend to check things out,many thanks,again,keep my fingers crossed for some luck,keep you posted,thank you.

Which battery did you use? A lot of batteries have the terminals the other way round. I take it the terminal nearest the engine has a “+” sign next to it smile

Thank you,fella, funny enough when went to battery centre in Swansea the guy working there gave me a battery the wrong way round, I said my + terminal on other side, I have double checked myself, element of doubt,oh,he said that quite rare,TVR,really,many thanks and thank you.
