At Last Shes Mine!!

Finally, Finally got her Yesterday. A 2003 Moonraker Black 4.5 in Absolutely mint condition. Most terrifying drive of my life bringing her home from Stratford (45mls) in a mixture of sunshine and heavy rain all the way. What a relief to get back in one piece. Still can't get the smile off my face after waiting 7 years saving hard but now the day has come. Yeeeessssssssssssssssssss! More to come soon.

Had mine 7 months now, and I still grin like a cheshire cat when out it her. Oh, and I still peek in the garage on days when I don't take her out.
Can I also emphasise, Do be careful, especially in the wet. They will bite!! guaranteed!

Echo that - two back end out experiences early on when being rather silly taught me to take it carefully and treat it with respect, put on the power progressively. Have fun, stay safe. In the classic words of Percy Sledge - 'take time to know her'.

To be totally honest I really do not intend driving her in the rain at all unless I get caught out by a shower or two. Don't worry Dave shes in good hands and I will keep her looking like new as she already does.Gave her a wash today and a primary coat of wax the shine is already much deeper so over the weekend may get time to apply more wax if not busy driving it's supposed to be a nice Bank Holiday weekend so I think that will take priority. If only the roads round here were better, already thinking of moving to Stratford neck of the woods!!

WHY???? I have only ever driven a Cerbera in anger in the wet - and having held it on mainly opposite lock at harewood hillclimb, I have to admit it was the most fun drive I have ever had!! Its perfectly progressive as long as you dont take the
with the throttle... Enjoy your Cerb by driving it, you'll have plenty of time to look at it/ polish it/ rust proof the chassis while its broken down. 
Cant understand how/why people avoid rainy days. Go find a deserted road - these arent museum pieces, warm them up and drive the wheels off it!!!!!!! Lifes too short and the UK is too wet to avoid rainy days, embrace them.
