Clunk

Got into my car (96 4.2) to get a sandwich at lunch, reversed about 10 feet and clunk, the engine stopped. Car will not turn over at all. Does move when engaged and the clutch is depressed so the clutch is Ok as are the gears, I think. The engine however seems to have locked solid, just got the dam thing back from a 24k service as well. The car has now been taken away to my local, any ideas what I can expect and please tell me it will be covered by my warranty !!
