Just had a close shave, coming up a slip road using full throttle, 2nd gear, it jumped out of gear (I might have inadvertantly knocked it) so tried to get it back into gear and it slipped nicely into third.
Back on the throttle, but the arse end snapped out, caught it, but it threw it towards the kerb. To be honest, I don't know how I got it going straight again, but I managed to pull it off, more through luck than judgement.
With missing the gear, I didn't notice that the top of the slip road had a bit of dampness, whereas the slip road itself was bone dry.
I'm not going to play the lottery this week, I've used up all my luck.
