Thought I would start this thread as a bit of light hearted amusement...i have been off work for a few days and been out playing in my beloved Cerb...the weather is perfect for such an activity...anyway i have noticed that people genually like to try and race a TVR...im not sure if it's because they don't realise just how fast they are...or they just want to hear the awesome sound they make...either way yesterday it was some sort of mini...a Porsche boxter...and today a hot hatch vxr...all cars that the Cerb would eat alive and truly did...not breaking any laws that is...😁😁😁
Share your experiences...it amuses me..

Recently - a Focus ST, any number of BMW's, a lycra clad road terrorist (cyclist) and a kawasaki Z1000 motorbike, who I didn't play with. I'm not silly biggrin

Audi and BMW drivers seem to be the worst in my opinion, I would never race. I just let them go. I have nothing to prove and don't need the stress or the points!!.

Oh, i also have an Audi A6 as my everyday car, but try not to be a dick!.

Back in the day, not long after I got my Tuscan, I had a Ferrari 360 “have a go”. From 20-70 (dual carriageway national speed limit) I was quite a way in front. I think his heart wasn’t really in it though after he realised he wasn’t going to totally spank me. That was in my (relative!) youth though. I really wouldn’t dream of doing this now, unless on a race track.

I give some fastish stuff hope. Left a 350Z for nothing pre turbo. Left a Mustang 5.0 thinking he'd have me then I hit 3500 rpm and pulled away post turbo. That was fun. Loads of people try to race you. An 18 reg 4 series (only a 420i) had a go last weekend I had to back off not to go into the back of him.

Had a little acceleration test this week, with a Subaru 330S running 380bhp apparently.

The owner said he’d not seen a Cerbera before, and seemed quite impressed smile

When we did fighting torque, it took some exotica or heavily modified things to give the Cerberas a beating

That's exactly what I'm trying to get at...TVRs in general are very underrated in every way and people just don't appreciate them for what they are....super car elite...😁😁

Tesla Model S some time ago in Belgium

He gave up (or was limited to) about 150, at which point I steamed past

Give him his due he was grinning from ear to ear and waved as I passed him
