I was wondering if anyone ever did a modification like the twin headlight conversion for the Griffith on the Cerbera? With faired in perspex covers.

Interesting conversion with the lupo lights. The other one is Tuscan style, but I meant this one. Thanks for the reactions. My original light get moist in the rain and that is something that should not happen. I like the "original" look with the Lupo lights, but I also like the faired in ones with the twin lights.

When I first got mine about 12 years ago there was a discussion then about using the ones from another model, seemed strange with all the other smooth lines of the car that this wasn't done.

Having had the original headlight bezels of a single headlight Cerbera and those of a Chimaera next to each other in the workshop, I can see why. They look similar but the dimensions are very different (the elongated egg shape of the bezels is much longer and the rake 'flatter' on the Cerb, similar to a Porsche 997 headlight vs. a 993 one).

The Cerbera Speed 6 that ran in the British GT series around the turn of the century (the one with the blue Scania Deloitte & Touche livery) did have faired in headlights in a similar style as the Mk3 Chimaera and Griff. It would be interesting to know where they came from and/or if the moulds for the light covers are still kicking about somewhere.

That was done by Brendan at Concept Performance in Sheffield. It also has a targa top.

Thanks!

As EWee points out, the moulds and lenses were done by Brendon and great job by the bodyshop to fit them. Not cheap, but in the grand scheme of my refurb, almost unnoticeable!

Probably going to have to let her go soon though. frown

More of a sunroof than a targa top

Pursyluv is right. It is more of a sunroof but Brendan calls it a Targa as the panel has to be removed and put in the boot.
