Following a short 5 mile journey today turned ignition off while opening my garage. Got back into car pressed black button and NO lights came on the dash. All other electrical things seem to work, what is wrong. Tried arming and disarming the alarm/immobiliser a few time to no avail. All fuses in boot seem fine. Puzzled??

Did you try the silver key?
Did you try the alarm fob stick thing in the hole?

as gazzab says check to make sure you didn't knock the silver key that looks like a bike lock tucked away near the cigarette lighter. Had this prob when the local scum got into our locked underground car park and took the radio front plate, and for some reason the immobiliser key. Replacement key in, everything fine. Hope yours is simple solution - they usually are, as i found out this week when advised that the solution to my troubles was a new big fuse.

If none of the above work try resetting your ignition box in the boot.

From memory it is the black box on the left hand side in the boot behind the velcro'd panel by the filler. take out the plug for a couple of minutes and then push back in. Ought to reset the ignition if that was the problem - worked with a different box when my windows and drivers door wouldn't play ball - ah the mysteries of the Cerbera. May be worth waiting for other reply just to be sure but pretty sure that is what is meant. Good luck.

glad to hear you are sorted - GO FOR A DRIVE! Some of the probs really are dead simple but it is a question of knowing what to do - that's why PH is so useful - the people on here are really good about helping out others in trouble. Glad to see that you got such a nice car after all that saving and waiting - looks good. Cheers AJ
