AP Racing Anti-Rattle Clips

The anti-rattle clips on my brakes are totally shot and I'm looking to replace them - they look like the ones in this photo (nearly as bad too!)



Has anyone tried the later design from AP Racing that looks like this - looks like a much more robust alternative solution if they work!

These are the correct ones, and work pretty well in my experience

They do rely on the recesses being present in the stainless plates

So my 4.2 callipers didn't have the 'notches' in the steel side retainers (or whatever those bits are called) required to fit these, but they do work upside down

You can see the notches in this photo of some 4.5 ones for sale of eBay



and here's my 4.2 ones with them upside down but still retaining the brake pads
