Putting the airboxes back on with the brackets after powder coating, I failed to note just where the throttle spring went. I've put it as shown, is this correct?


There are a few potential places on the bracket, and I suppose it may not be that critical, since there's already one on each throttle rod. I think it may be superfluous, what with the throttle being quite stiff in my opinion, but I have read about jammed open throttles!

Better to have the spring linear, there is another hole right where the bolt is that I use.

Definitely use the spring.

You're probably right. I used that hole because it is a slightly shorter distance and would not make the throttle quite as stiff, but linear movement to the hole above the securing stud is better. I'll move it (when it's not so cold!), the scuttle panel is still off at the moment. Bonnet striker pins ordered to replace.
