Where does the redline start & finish on a 4.2 with softer cams & is there a rev limiter fitted as standard on the car?

I think the is a buzzer which tells you when you get there but to be honest it's like the hounds at the gates of hell and if you can hear it then your car is too quiet. Somewhere around 7k ish.

forget the buzzer,
use the old original, arse dyno, you should be able to feel this.

There is a buzzer and light at around 7k, then a rev limiter a bit later (not sure what revs it comes in at as my eyes are normally glued to the road at that point.)

Correction, some cars have a limiter!

Apparently TVR didn't see fit to bother with one on a lot of the earlier cars - mine has whisper cams, but no limiter at all..... arse dyno is the only way to go.
