Recently had my C8ERA MOT'd and Serviced (£1,500!!)
But have noticed a rattle from what sounds like the passenger side rear when going over drains or sometimes when idling. (Sounds similar to a loose Exhaust heat shield) Any ideas??

exhaust rubbing on chassis, bash plate or rear anti-roll bar [in earlier cars]. Not a lot of space in there. If you are checking clearances, do it with the system hot as there's a lot of expansion in the system and clearance cold is no guarantee for clearance when the system gets hot. If it's just started, could just be the rubber mounts at the back have stretched. I have always ended up putting cable ties round the rubber mounts to cut down on the amount of movement they allow the system.

I think I saw yours on ramps when I was getting my brakes sorted.

Does this rattle disapear under braking. If so would suspect the rear pads are rattling, failing that exhaust would sould the likely option.

Was me if it was at Thames Valley Racetech.
No way brakes, had that sorted, sounds different to that.
Went to Kwikfit and Autospeed at lunch and sat at both for 1/2hr to be told "can I have the keys" (By some spotty teenager! -I know i'm 24!-) NO! "Only we can put it on the ramps for INS reasons" NO! "oh ok hang on then, yes please drive it on sir...Stop, won't go on the ramps sir"...AHHHHH
