I have the choice of:
NGK R BKR5EK
or
NGK R BKR5EKU

Are these any good and any ideas what difference the U makes?

Only ever used NGK BKR5EKU in mine.

Just had my car serviced at Central TVR, they used the 'U' variety.

According the opie oils website (?? Yes I know, it came up doing a search), the spark position is different:

BKR5EK - 6mm
BKR5EKU - 4.7mm

Yes there is a Denso equivlalent just bought a set from The Green Sparkplug Co
