During a blast yesterday these were both coming on intermittently (the a/c light in particular kept coming on despite the fan being off - i kept swiching it off and it just kept coming straight back on). The heater light was more intermittent flickering on and off.
Tried turning off and restarting but no difference
Any clues? Should i be bracing myself for an imminent rebuild or similar catastrophe?
Cheers!

I think this probably means the electronics board behind the switches needs replacing or repaired.

Do you mean the lights behind the fan knobs?

Mine are on all the time!

Oops I thought you meant the little blue diode light. Yes the lights on the actual knobs are meant to be on the whole time.

Did mean the l.e.d.s - the lights behind the switches are on all the time as normal. Is replacing the circuit board thing a steep bill and is it essential to sort it now (everything else seems to be fine)

Try the ribbon cable connections that link the switches to the control box in the passenger footwell. The connection at the control box end was loose on mine and caused the heater fan and a/c + lights to have a mind of their own!
