My car has been running a little rough so am going to change the HT leads and ignition coil. The ignition coil looks identical to that on peugeot 205's and 106's (Motaquip part no VCL 617) can anyone confirm this is the case?

Also can anyone suggest improved HT leads or should I stay with TVR supplied leads?

Thanks

I got mine from ACT, they seemed to help. Don't know about the coils, but they are a mass produced part. I once looked up the name/part number on the internet out of curiosity...

I've the name citreon Xantia mentioned in the pastwith respect to this so peaugot will probably be OK, measure the resistance of the windings if you're unsure. Probably won't much difference in any case as long as the leads fits and it bolts up OK it'll probably be fine
