I am sure I came accross a pic of a black Cerb with Tuscans carbon style cans fitter in a V type arangement. Cant for the life of me find it again. Ive just bought some CCC can a few weeks back for my Tuscan S and am seriously considering changing to a Cerbera and wondered if I could use CCCs rather than flog them. The car im looking at dosent have a sports system fitted, whats the best system off the shelf without De-catting?

Heres a cut'n'paste I wrote in another thread the other day (in relation to you, just take your CCC's to the place and they will weld them on for you there and then with lifetime warranty on the work, sometimes I sound like a freakin salesman or something, I just love bragging about good service! )

He is a funny car racer (BIG HORSEPOWER DRAG CARS).

They can do anything you want, custom there and then while you watch, give and take 2 hours and you drive away with the biggest grin on your face!

Call Tim up (mention my name, Ash with the 3000GT), and ask him you want cat back system, 2.5" pipes, with bike cans on the rear. Sort out what design you want, I'd recommend a set of anodized ones to make the rear end look more racey-aggressive.

All in, its probably gonna cost around £500ish, and you'll be the only one with that unique kit. Plus they give lifetime warranty with their stainless steel pipes. When you first start her up, you will probably faint with the sound you can get with 'real' bike cans, while you're there, you could probably ask them to make some decat pipes if you REALLY want people in a mile radius to know you're in the area

Highly recommended, they can cut, bend piping to any form you want there and then.

Have fun, dont follow the crowd by sticking with stock back-boxes or current systems which are too common, be unique!

Thanks guys, found the pic

Nice colour, though I may be bias
So I guess I need twin pipes to replace the (what appears to be?) the combined back box.

The only thing putting me off is the sound, mind you my tuscan s sounded pants with the original cans.

The car im considering

Your only problem with the Cerby having tuscan cans on could be the ground clearance , i have bottomed my tale pipes out and i have got standard diameter tale pipes on and the susspension set fairly hard.

Don't ruin a beautiful car by chavving it up.

Sorry but those Tuscan cans look too much like Lax Power brigade to me. It screams look at me, I have no taste at all.

Whereas a Cerb with or without a sports system just needs no introduction.

Your probably right, just didnt want to have to sell them after just buying the things, already got a previous set to sell. Whats the best sports system to go for then?

What colour is it exactly?
It's a little like mine - Titanium Silver!

Titan Grey apparently, understated compared to my current steed but suits the car well.

Best system to go for....hmmmmm

Jools reckons decat with standard exhaust is the best.

Most reckon sports pipes with cats in is about the right amount of hiss and spit.

I just had a sports exhaust on mine with the cats, but had this niggle that just wouldn't go away and fitted decat pipes as well. Effectively a straight through exhaust with two tiny cans on the back. Loud isn't the word!

I love it, it really screams at 4k+ but it could get a bit droney at 90mph cruising.
