Two weeks into the Cerb experience, and I officially have my first niggle.

After washing/ polishing it today, went for a blast and found the speedo not working (needle & odometer not moving). Still no joy after stopping/ restarting the engine. Started working a few miles later. Suspecting a dodgy contact/ connector somewhere (maybe to do with water from washing ?).

Don't know the first thing about Cerb speedos - assume it's electrical not mechanical? Connected to gearbox or diff? Anybody know rough cable routing as don't want to start pulling off dash should it happen again.

Cheers
Craig.

Stick on a ramp or jack up the rear (or crawl underneath) and find the speedo sensor on the diff, right hand side (looking forward). Try waggling it (technical term), or adjusting closer/further away slightly. Shouldn't be touching, but should be close-ish. If it becomes intermittent from not working, it means your close. If this has no effect it could be broken, or cable broken, or speedo - take to dealer/specialist.
