cerbie gearbox
Discussion
hi fellas,
as i have told you all recently, my gearbox has blown up in my 4.5 and it is currently at the dealers! I was led to believe that they use the t5 cosworth box! so i bought one cheap(300quid) thinking great, this wont be as expensive as i thought it would be! So i delivered it to the dealer where my car was, happy as a pig in poo!
when i got there the box was completely different! i was mortified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So now i have purchased myself some more expensive knowledge, Cerbera do use a t5 box but tvr have it modified around the chassis of the car,i.e move the gearlever!
So back to the re.con box solution

There are a number of rebuild options, inlcuding close ratio gearsets. A google search will bring these up.
Good luck!
