I promise (he said both hopefully and vainly) to make this the last thread onm the subject

BUT

Seven years ago several of us took part in a group buy from Speedy Cables for an Oil Temperature Guage.
Well, as one of the last steps in my 100K service, I have decided to try and get the damn thing going.

Fitted the Guage, acquired the Oil Filter Sandwich Plate (Thanks Pete M thumbup )
and now realise that I have absolutely no idea how to connect it up.

There are three terminals on the back....

Could you please give me an indication as to how these should be connected ?

(an indication as to where the light unit's two cables should be connected would also be appreciated)

Thanks all thumbup

The light bulb and its holder go into the large hole, so none of the 3 terminals are for lighting. Not much help, sorry smile

Me too

But.......Suggest you connect a 1 amp fuse in the ignition supply to the gauge and prove all is good rather than possibly blow the gauge

If the fuse blows you could try a 2 amp
