Sorry for all the questions over the last week!

Since owning the car it has always bugged me that when using the ignition key the barrel slightly rotated in the dash, I have nip the nut up twice and it somehow still ends up moving over time. Has anyone thought of a nice mod to over come this issue?

Brave man, rule 1 of owning a Cerbera, never touch the silver key.

You don't need to ever take it out tbh, I have owned my Cerbera for over 13 years and never removed it yet.

first rule of cerbera fight club is never touch the silver key... biggrin

However, I have used it, it works ok if the connections are good but as you say the socket sometimes rotates and thats what breaks the connections. When I first got the car I took it out and applied some Uhu type glue to hold it in place and it's still holding ok years later.

But yes, fix that, then leave it alone.

Many of us have removed the switch and re-purposed the hole for another function

In my case it powers the flying lead above which is a 5v USB lead for a SatNav

It’s always crossed my mind if you can buy a electronic key, like a old immobiliser fob you just push in rather than rotate.
