Tvr parts sent the Woodruff for the new oil shaft but is clearly too small (measures 12mm X 3mm X 5mm, lenght/thick/high). It appears the actual is 15 mm X 4mm X 6.6mm.

Just confirming if anyone agrees?

Here's the condition of the old one

The new shaft takes a 4mm key as you said

I think I had to remove some material in order for it to fit, but you need to be careful to make sure it isn't loose

Fortunately if it goes wrong it's not difficult to replace in situ

Several years ago the key sheared and I was able to replace it (with the right key) in about two hours

I take it the original shafts were smaller Woodruff's then? If so my 96 4.2 has been on quite journey
