Cruise control?

Anyone have this fitted?

I know it sounds daft on a cerb, but on the way home from work, I convinced myself to have a nice leisurely cruise. Then the baiting started. First a Golf GTi, then a diesel Mondeo FFS! Soon noticed I was travelling at a silly speed. It may even save my licence one day?

I heard they were going to ban cruise control next year so wouldn't bother.

After market systems are out there... I have seen a Chim with it fitted. I must say that on suitable roads, I find it a very useful tool, both our every day cars have it. I am always amazed how erratic the speed of other cars is when running on CC. A car bombs past me one minute with a significant speed differential, only of me to pass him a few minutes later, then he will pas again, and so on...
