My radiator has gone on my Cerby S6, what should i do, refurb or replace.
Has anyone any idea how much and any suggestion were from. (Sheffield area)
Is it a DIY job as it looks easy enough and i am handy with spanners, anyone done it.

Had mine replaced last week - it is doable but very tight and a bit of a knuckle scraper esp. if you have one with the core the full depth of the rad.

The fan covers would need to be relieved slightly to provide clearance, but is a small job with a grinder to achieve.

Good luck!

I had my done by County Rads in Basildon Essex. It cost £100, really good job and well worth the money.

It wasnt too bad getting it out, I removed the bonnet.

Had mine out of the Griff myself just before I changed to the Cerb. Looking at the 2, the Cerb looks easier to do. I had it re-cored and re-furbed for 100 notes inc 12 month warranty at Warwick Radiators in Coventry. Probably a bit of a treck for you but gives an indication of price.

Thanks to everyone, i have taken the rad out which was a piece of p**s and am going to take it to Auto-cool at Chesterfield, hope it goes back in as easy.
Cost was 140 quid which was for a re-core and upgrade for better cooling.
