Just having some work done on my engine AJP V8 and have had trouble getting parts for it. Apparently as they no longer make this engine, they no longer make parts for it. Whats going to happen to all us V8 owners when all the parts we need have dried up? Are we going to have to comit our babies to the grave yard or is there someone manufacturing ad hoc parts somewhere? Am now very worried!!!!!!

Don't worry too much ............. just yet. TVR supply of spare parts has never been great. If parts do dry up I'm sure there are plenty of SME's out there who will fill the void.

Under the SMMT rules manufactureres are obliged to keep a full supply of all spare parts for ten years after the end of production. As a major source of profit in the motor trade is spares I wouldn't worry too much.

If things get too much,
I will be contacting TVR craft for the 5.5L upgrade.

The simple answer is to buy another Cerbera and rob it for spares but that may well be the expensive option

And make sure that we keep the 'equivalent part numbers' updated. Perhaps we need to add a seperate list of suppliers who can make/refurb specialist parts that are not parts from other cars?

Hi nervous - are your ears still bleeding from that new sports zorst?

am seriously considering adding one when Cerb returns from surgery. No doubt you'll point me in the direction of 2 sheds.....
