Under dash trim
Discussion
The under dash trim panel (on the passenger side) drops down an inch or so periodically and I have to reach across and push it back up. Depending upon the temperature, sometimes it won't stay up for any length of time at all.
How do you guys keep this panel up?
There are two attach points, a bolt at the bottom left and a screw two thirds of the way up on the right.
It seems like an attach point on the top left would be the answer, but of course there isn't one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I should add, there is no adjustment in either attach point, otherwise, if I could set the panel a little further up (into the cabin) it would be held better under the lip of the upper dash.

The front of the panel should slide up and into the main dash.
At the tunnel side there's a self tapper that screws in just above the air vent (this pic was taken at a test-fit - so the screw is not there) . . .

On the left hand side there's a butterfly nut up above the panel which holds it in place. You ned to reach up behind the panel to access it.

Mines alright at that point, but hangs down a bit and partially covers the vent for the passenger’s legs.
I took the panel out the other day, and discovered a crack in it, where it tucks under the centre column. A job for Fibreon, if ever I get round to paying for a retrim.
