18 inch Spiders
Discussion
I have 18inch Spiders on my car to stop the tyres scrubbing the top wishbone on full lock. I have a 3.5 mm nylon spacer on the rack and a 3mm wheel spacer.
What have others done to stop this, if possible to get rid of the nylon spacer on the rack as the turning circle is rubbish to start with. I know there is a later top wishbone that looks to have a curve on it but it is for later cars. Is there a modified wishbone that is made that will allow a better turning circle not just with the wall ground away.

Hi Tony,
What offset Spiders are you running ?
Mine is an '01 and runs 42mm on the front but the rears are 33.
(Just in case some looney put the tyres on the wrong wheels)
Yes running 42mm and 33mm looked back on the paperwork and they are Tuscan Mk1 wheels they were on the car when I got it but will check the offset anyway .If the tyres were on the wrong offset wouldn't you foul the calliper's?What offset Spiders are you running ?
