Three Obvious Questions
Discussion
I'm sure the answer to these questions are fairly obvious but heh I'll ask them anyway.
Do Cerberas lose or use water occasionally about two litres every two months or so ?(I've just had to fill mine up again after refilling - 2 litres about two months ago)
There are two fans on the radiator - I assume at 100 degrees both should be running ? (there is only one running at the moment)
How cold does the air conditioning get when its on cold _ i've only used mine in this recent hot spell and it doesn't fell any different when its on or off - maybe I'm not leaving it on long enough _ twenty minutes or so
I'm sure the answer to these questions are water leak, both fans and feels cold in that order but I'm interested in your opinions - need to get them fixed for the furball next week, so quick fixes or off to dealer remedies please.

Mine doesn't use any water at all - now I've found all the leaks,
The first fan comes on at 92 and the second at 95 degrees C. Not necessarily what your guage is reading!
Mines reads about 12 deg high.
Air Con is crap, probably just needs a regas, or the compressor clutch isn't engaging!!
Hope this helps.

No this is not normal, you are more than likely experiencing TVR Crap clips. TVR used mild steel clips and they just rust, come upclipped and generally leak water all onto the floor. The clips only last 3 -4 years depending on the number of outings in the winter (More salt) or location to the sea. ACT do a replacement kit including SAMCO hoses and SS clips. £100 ish pounds + fitting. I would expect you need to change the hoses anyway as these are also pretty poor quality. Also whilst you have the chance, take a look at the water rails, L&R. These also have a tendency to rust, TVr only painted mild steel so they do rust after a while. Left unchecked can lead to popping off pipe at high pressure/RPM and steam/cooked engine. Oh and RAC/AA man.

As previously poseted they cut in one at a time, 1st at 94 and the second at 96 and they will not cut out until the temperature has reduced 89 degrees. This, of course, is all this is driven off of the temperature sensor which is also a consumable. Due to location and quality these should be changed or at least removed and cleaned at every service. It's only a £20 part and can save engines. Gunk can get stuck to the sensor part in the water system and give incorrect readout. Again a remove and clean should sort it out.

The air conditioning (when the engine is running and warmed up) Tepid / Luke warm. This is on a fully working system. If the engine is cold, ie. if you have just started the engine it should feel cool. When you engage the air con there should be a click as the clutches engage on the pump. If this doesn't happen then it's likely you need a re-gas. There is a brittle pipe issue with earlier cars if you get a subsequent loss of the new gas.
I would get the coolant leak checked out prior to Furball. As you can cover both the top 2 in one visit and can save your engine. As for the third....up to you.
